PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scan type laser ophthalmoscope capable of acquiring a good front image of an eye to be examined.SOLUTION: A scan type laser ophthalmoscope 1 includes: an irradiation optical system 10 having a laser beam emitting part 11, a scan part 16, and an objective lens system 17 a light receiving optical system 20 having a pinhole plate 23 and a perforated mirror 13 for branching optical paths L1 and L2 of the irradiation optical system 10 and the light receiving optical system 20. The scan type laser ophthalmoscope 1 acquires an image of ocular fundus based on a light reception signal from a light receiving element 25 of the light receiving optical system 20. The scan type laser ophthalmoscope 1 further includes a light shielding member 22 disposed at a position deviating from a position conjugate with the ocular fundus of the eye to be examined in the optical path between the perforated mirror 13 and the light receiving element 25 that transmits the light from the ocular fundus conjugate surface, and shields at least part of the reflection light from a lens surface 17a of the objective lens system 17.
