PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for an magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, which can be easily attached to a head fixed on a head fixing tool and can be stabilized to the head fixing tool while securing sufficient signal sensitivity over the whole head.SOLUTION: The receiver 1 receives signals from a test subject placed on a static magnetic filed of the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, and includes a plurality of divided members 10, 20, 30 attachable/detachable to the head fixing tool 100 to which the head is fixed. Further, devided coils constituted by dividing a signal receiving coil receiving signals are provided inside the respective divided members 10, 20, 30.
