PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a brain wave measurement method that can reduce noise and achieves high performance as well as provide a brain wave measurement apparatus that is compact, reduces noise, and has high sensitivity.SOLUTION: Noise is reduced by: providing an electromagnetic shield member 1 for covering at least a brain wave measurement electrode 2 and electrode wiring 4 for electrically connecting the electrode 2 with a brain wave meter main body unit 5 including a radio transmission unit; and measuring a brain wave after electrically connecting the electromagnetic shield member 1 with a subject 8. A brain wave measurement apparatus reduces noise by comprising : a plurality of brain wave measurement electrodes 2; a head part mounting member 3 for fixing and holding the electrodes 2; a brain wave meter main body unit 5 including a radio transmission unit; electrode wiring 4 for electrically connecting the electrodes with the brain wave meter main body unit 5; an electromagnetic shield member 1 for covering at least the electrodes 2 and the electrode wiring 4; and an electric wire for electrically connecting the electromagnetic shield member 1 with a subject 8.【課題】ノイズを低減できる高性能な脳波計測方法を実現するとともに、コンパクトでノイズが低減された高感度な脳波計測装置を提供する。【解決手段】脳波計測用電極2と、無線送信部を含む脳波計本体部5と電極2とを電気的に接続する電極用配線4とを、少なくとも覆う電磁シールド部材1を設け、電磁シールド部材1を被験者8に電気的接続して、脳波を計測することにより、ノイズを低減する。複数の脳波計測用電極2と、電極2を固定保持する頭部装着部材3と、無線送信部を含む脳波計本体部5と、電極と脳波計本体部5を電気的に接続する電極用配線4と、電極2と電極用配線4とを少なくとも覆う電磁シールド部材1と、電磁シールド部材1を被験者8に電気的に接続する電線とを、備えることにより、ノイズを低減する。【選択図】図1
