The present invention provides a process for coating carrier particles withinhalable drug guest particles, the processcomprising providing an apparatus comprising a processing vessel having solidwalls defining a chamber for receiving said particlesand adding the particles to the chamber. Next, the cylindrical processingvessel is rotated about an axis to impart a centrifugal (G)force of between 10 and 2100g on the particles. The present invention alsoprovides a process for coating carrier particles with guestparticles, wherein the carrier particles comprise a material or a drug andwherein the guest particles comprise a solubility/dissolutioncontrolling agent.
