PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-fired heater, configured to generate steam by effectively using the heat possessed by combustion gas and to supply the steam into a room together with the heat released from a heat radiation pipe.SOLUTION: In the gas-fired heater 10, a humidifier 19 includes an outer cylinder 20 and an inner cylinder 21, the outer cylinder 20 is attached to the heat radiation pipe 14 so that the combustion gas flows in an internal space portion 23 thereof, and the inner cylinder 21 is attached to the outer cylinder 20 with a part thereof or an evaporation water storage tank portion 29a being inserted to the space portion 23 of the outer cylinder 20. The evaporation water storage tank portion 29a of the inner cylinder 21 inserted into the outer cylinder 20 is heated by the combustion gas flowing in the space portion 23 of the outer cylinder 20 to vaporize water in a water storage chamber 25 thereof, and the generated steam is released out of the outer cylinder 20 through a steam release portion 29b of the inner cylinder 21.
