The present invention relates to a composition, which is for repairing rotator cuff tears and includes nucleic acid and chitosan. More specifically, a composition for repairing rotator cuff tears and prepared by mixing nucleic acid and chitosan was ascertained to undergo a temperature-dependent sol-gel transition and have a greater tissue-repairing effect than typical individual compositions, and it was ascertained that the rate of decomposition of the composition was slowed and the residence time of the composition in a tear region was increased such that the tissue-repairing effect was prolonged.
