An electrosurgical device comprising: (a) a case; (b) an end clamp, comprising: (i) a first jaw, and (ii) a second jaw, where the first jaw is able to move to the second jaw to clamp tissue between the first and second jaws where at least one of the jaws contains at least one electrode, where the at least one electrode is configured to deliver high-frequency energy to the tissue sandwiched between the first and second jaws; (c) a cutting element configured to cut the tissue sandwiched between the first and second sconce nshami; and (d) a barrel extending between the body and the end clamp, where the barrel defines a longitudinal axis, wherein the barrel includes a hinge portion, where the hinge portion is configured to selectively position the end clamp in a non-parallel position with respect to the longitudinal axis of the barrel, in which the housing includes a controller configured to selectively drive the hinge portion. 2. The electrosurgical device of claim 1, wherein the control unit includes a handle. The electrosurgical device of claim 2, wherein the handle is capable of rotating along a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the barrel. The electrosurgical device of claim 2, where the handle rotates around the longitudinal axis of the barrel along a plane that is located at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the barrel. 5. The electrosurgical device of claim 4, wherein the controller further comprises a guide hinge, the handle being located around the guide hinge.
