PURPOSE: A retaining wall greening method using a vegetation foundation burlap bag is provided to continuously grow vegetation by absorbing water drained through a permeable aggregate layer and rainwater supplied from the front side of a retaining wall. CONSTITUTION: A retaining wall greening method using a vegetation foundation burlap bag is made by combining and constructing a vegetation block (B) and a non-vegetation block. The vegetation block comprises a through-hole (H) filled with a vegetation soil body (R3). A retaining wall is greened by planting plants (P) or sowing seeds in the vegetation soil body. The through-hole of the vegetation block is installed with a bag-shaped vegetation foundation burlap bag (S) to be filled with the vegetation soil body. The bottom end of the vegetation foundation burlap bag is connected to a reinforcement soil body (R1) through permeable aggregates in the rear side of the block.본 발명은 식생기반포대를 사용한 옹벽 녹화공법에 관한 것으로, 별도의 관수시스템이 없이도 지속적인 식물의 생장이 가능한 녹화용 옹벽을 시공할 수 있도록 식생 블록(B1)과 무식생 블록(B2)을 조합하여 축조하되, 식생 블록(B1)의 관통공(170)에 직포 또는 부직포로 이루어지는 자루 형태의 식생기반포대(200)를 설치하고, 이 식생기반포대(200)에 식생토체(R3)를 채우되 식생기반포대(200)의 하단은 블록(B1,B2) 후방의 투수성 골재(R2)를 지나 보강토체(뒷채움토사； R1)에 연결되도록 설치함으로써 식물(P)의 뿌리(R)가 옹벽 전방으로부터 공급되는 빗물은 물론 투수성 골재(R2)층을 통해 배수되는 물을 흡수하여 지속적인 생장이 가능하도록 한 것이다.
